I couldn’t believe it when I broke my glasses about a month ago because I stepped on them in the middle of the night when they fell off my nightstand somehow. Who knew that four years ago I’d be stuck with a college degree from the University of Arizona and jobless after 4 months passed after graduation? I guess nobody saw the recession in Arizona coming, and I should be lucky that I did finally get a job, but I was going crazy while I was out of work. I tried going to my bank in Phoenix to ask for a loan, but because I had no credit, they offered no help. Same was true around the East Valley in Mesa, Tempe, and Guadalupe. I tried, but the only company that would give me a loan was online. It was a car title loans company, and they really saved my skin. I was instantly approved for a loan and they even had someone hand-deliver the money to me at my place in Phoenix the next day. And they only needed my title for collateral and not the car. I guess I shouldn’t have been as surprised as I was to find out that the banks are really strict in loaning money during this down economy in Arizona. I needed a loan so I could pay off some bills that are dragging me into debt, and I tried going to my bank in West Phoenix, but they couldn’t help because I have bad credit, bad enough that they didn’t bother offering me a loan. I tried some other banks in the West Valley in Glendale, Avondale and Litchfield Park but they don’t have loans for people with bad credit either. My last resort was an auto title loan, and I was so relieved when I was approved for mine. I wouldn’t have to give up my car and they didn’t charge prepayment penalties to get approved. That’s good to know that they’re able to reach out to the people of Arizona, even when the banks here refuse to. Thanks for helping, and I’ll be ok from here on out with my money.

Is there ever going to be an end to the recession? Seems like a rhetorical question, as the economy in Arizona has been pretty rough for more than a year now. I especially have been digging myself into a deeper hole, and I was unable to pay my bills a few weeks ago at the end of September. I tried to get a loan from my bank in downtown Phoenix but that was a waste because they’re not loaning money to regular Joes like myself in this economy. Let me tell you how the recession in Arizona forced me to borrow money so that I could just pay the mortgage payment on my home in Eloy. I tell ya, I can’t believe we’re still in a recession and everything’s still really expensive. I just can’t wait for this recession to pass, but till then, my title loan will help me recover.
